Bevel Gauge

I made this bevel gauge using the tools and techniques I learned from making the scribe. It was nice to take what I had learned and apply it right away. I cut the pieces for the bevel gauge and then soldered the brass parts together, making sure the stainless-steel blade stayed in place. After that, I made the thumbscrew by cutting the star-shaped form, then cleaned and refined it using a jeweler’s saw and a file. I soldered the thumbscrew onto a screw that goes through the bevel gauge and added a stopper to make it more functional. Finally, I cleaned the entire piece using sandpaper and Scotch-Brite.
