Olive Earring and Necklace Set
I completed my internship as a Jewelry Designer at Imseeh Jewelry, a renowned fine jewelry house founded in Amman, Jordan, in 1957 by master craftsman Karam Imseeh. Imseeh is widely recognized for its craftsmanship, attention to detail, and dedication to preserving the art of jewelry making.
During my time at Imseeh’s manufacturing facility, I had the opportunity to work alongside a talented team of 3D jewelry designers. Their guidance helped strengthen my skills in Rhino 3D as well as further developing my passion for jewelry design. I was fortunate enough to bring this project to life, an experience made possible through the support and expertise of many wonderful individuals.
This experience deepened my understanding of the complete jewelry design process, allowing me to observe and participate in each step of how a piece transforms from an initial design concept into a finished product. Seeing one of my own designs come to life has been an incredibly immersive and rewarding experience that has strengthened my appreciation for the craftsmanship behind fine jewelry.

3D Jewelry Design Intern at Imseeh’s Manufacturing Facility

01 Form Prototype Exploration
Material Selection Initially, I discussed and selected the type of gemstone I would be designing around, as well as the karat of the gold, based on my client's preferences (my mom). I decided to use 18-karat gold and diamonds for the gemstones because they create a timeless and elegant look.
Design Development Sketched the initial design concepts for the pendant first, since it carries more of the visual weight of the set, being the larger and singular focal piece.
Sketched out ideas for the earrings after finalizing one of the pendant design concepts, designing them to complement the pendant.
02 Design Progress
Redesign and Refinement Gathered feedback, selected the final design based on responses, and modeled the chosen design on Rhino 3D.
Made adjustments to the design based on feedback and suggestions from my peers at Imseeh, as well as the client.
Prototyping Produced initial prototypes using castable resin printing to check the design's specifications and examine the details up close.
Evaluated the size and appearance of the prototypes and made necessary adjustments to refine the design.
03 Production Procedure
(I worked closely with the craftsmen throughout the production process, helping guide the execution of my designs and tracking the progress of each piece as it was brought to life.)
Casting Created mold for the pieces around the reason using metal flask with heat-resistant investment plaster.
Casted the pieces out of 18 karat gold using the vacuum casting process. Extra pieces were made in case any were damaged or lost during the subsequent stages of production.
Post-Processing: Cut the sprues and support structures from each piece using a jeweler's saw.
Filed the pieces to remove any remaining marks left by the sprues.
Polishing: Sanded each of the pieces to remove any surface imperfections or tool marks left.
Polished the pieces using a polishing wheel to achieve a smooth and reflective finish.
04 Final Ideation
FinalizationInspected each piece carefully to ensure it was free of scratches and polished to a high-quality finish.
Attached the chain and clasp to the pendant, and ensured that the necklace was secure and functional.
Set and secured the diamonds into the pendant and earring settings making sure they were firmly held in place.
