Light of the Levant
The product consists of levantine embroidery designs in the form of an ornamental inspired lamp. My main sources of inspiration were akari and traditional japanese lamps. I liked the idea of the combination of two cultures to create a product that resonates with a larger audience from both backgrounds.
The light panels are designed to be attachable and detachable using magnets fixed to the back of each panel. This allows the designs to be easily swapped out as desired, eliminating the need to purchase an entirely new lamp when a different look is preferred.
